Vision Australia Radio’s Peter Greco has been officially added to the Community Broadcasting Honour Roll for 2025, a national recognition from the Community Broadcasting Association of Australia (CBAA) that celebrates individuals who have made an enduring contribution to community radio.
For more than 15 years, Peter has been a constant and trusted voice on the airwaves, producing and presenting programs that inform, inspire, and include.
His work spans shows such as Leisure Link, Focal Point (with Phil Vanderpeer), Vision Extra, and Vision Sports, all designed to highlight the achievements, challenges, and experiences of people living with disability.
Broadcasting from Vision Australia Radio’s Adelaide studios, and more recently, remotely, Peter has brought energy, empathy, and insight to every conversation. His interviews reflect a deep respect for community and a firm belief in the power of media to drive inclusion.
Beyond his on-air presence, Peter is known for championing accessible media and mentoring others within the Vision Australia Radio network. His unwavering commitment has helped build a more inclusive broadcasting landscape where everyone’s story can be heard.
We at GreyMatter have had the privilege of being interviewed by Peter >> most recently during Ageing Awareness Week 2025. We experienced firsthand his warmth, curiosity, and thoughtful approach to storytelling. His ability to connect and draw out meaningful conversations reflects the very best of community broadcasting.
Peter’s induction into the Honour Roll acknowledges his years of service plus his broader advocacy for people who are blind or have low vision. It’s a fitting tribute to someone who has spent his career ensuring that accessibility and inclusion aren’t afterthoughts, they are part of the story.
GreyMatter joins the community in congratulating Peter on this well-deserved recognition.
