At the National Seniors Australia Adelaide North West Branch dinner, we had the privilege of celebrating a very special milestone — the Branch President’s 90th birthday.

Happy 90th Brian!

For decades, organisations like National Seniors Australia have played an important role in advocating for older Australians, while also creating opportunities for connection, friendship, learning and lively discussion within local communities. What stands out at gatherings like this is not only the longevity of members, but the depth of experience, humour and perspective around the table.

And true to form, conversation travelled everywhere. From Lite n’ Easy to su1c1de, from high school air-conditioning to pumpkins and spotted dick — fairly standard when you put a room full of over-50s together! Equal parts wisdom, storytelling, concern, curiosity and comedy.

The Adelaide North West Branch continues to be an active and welcoming group, bringing people together regularly to share conversation, community and connection.
