>> A walk across the city streets with Fiveaa’s Bob the Murder Man had TAN members asking questions and wanting answers.

DV is a focus of Bob’s research ie to help raise awareness of the struggles women have encountered over the years. For example, back in the day, a palm reader was a cover title for an abortionist! As one member said, ‘the hand predicted they would be without child.’

With 39% of murders in Adelaide linked to domestic and family violence, it hits home when you think behind that confronting statistic are real people, real relationships and often a pattern of behaviour that has escalated behind closed doors. Bob takes a closer look at what the numbers reveal about domestic violence-related killings in Adelaide through researching his stories and the warning signs we need to recognise before it’s too late.
