Still Becoming: Marylouise Turns a Love of Fabric into a New Creative Chapter

Marylouise, one of GreyMatter.Studio’s recent International Day of the Older Person Still Becoming contributors, is pursuing her next chapter through taking fabric, thread and a brand-new retail venture.

Fabric and Toile, her new fabric and sewing studio, is preparing to open its doors in Adelaide’s west, bringing together quality fabrics, natural fibres, beautiful textures and a space designed to inspire creativity.

Whether you’ve been sewing for years or are still figuring out how to thread a needle, Marylouise wishes for the studio/hub/outlet to feel welcoming and be a place where ideas can become something tangible.

STAY TUNED, MORE TO COME.

It’s a wonderful example of what becoming can look like: trying something new, following an idea and creating space for a different kind of future.

At GreyMatter, we love seeing where our contributors’ stories take them next.

Fabric and Toile Opens Soon.
